It was back in 1992 when the bold idea of Giovanni Carta and his wife Maura gave birth to “Le Dune” Restaurant. Their dream took shape in a small town in the Isonzo area, Mariano del Friuli, in a geographical location that, at the time, might have seemed like a real gamble. But Giovanni and Maura’s passion and dedication have won them an increasingly satisfied and enthusiastic clientele.

From the very beginning, “Le Dune” has brought to the table the freshness and goodness of fish with a touch of simplicity, using only the finest raw materials. Every day, tasty dishes and the freshest fish were carefully presented, earning the growing approval of loyal customers.

What began as two simple dining rooms has grown over the years, transforming into a warm and comfortable environment capable of seating up to 50 people. In 2021, the Restaurant changed ownership, but held firm to the tradition and style that had made “The Dunes” a special place. Today, as then, we continue to serve the best of the sea with passion and dedication.
